Royal Mirage
Dubai Resorts & Hotels
One&Only Royal Mirage pays tribute to Arabian architecture and hospitality on a truly regal scale. Considered the most stylish resort on Jumeira Beach, it comprises three equally distinctive properties - The Palace, Arabian Court and Residence & Spa.
The Palace
First opened in 1999 and featuring 250 guest rooms, The Palace at One&Only Royal Mirage sits on a private beach offering rich leisure facilities. Temperature-controlled swimming pools, water-sports centre, tennis courts, golf putting green, children's care center and most importantly, a tranquil haven for rest and relaxation. With four restaurants, The Palace offers an array of dining venues, and the Royal Ballroom caters for up to 350 guests and three meeting rooms offer a complete business solution.
Arabian Court
Arabian Court at One&Only Royal Mirage is illusive and mysterious, an ancient dwelling that is distinguished behind a sheltered oasis, protecting the inner beauty. The property is crafted in the spirit of the orient with dramatic architecture creating symmetry, amidst a landscape of fountains, walkways and lush gardens.
The subtly angled entrance leads to the impressive grand gallery, the vertebrae of the hotel that links the two wings of the property and guides guests towards the 162 charismatic guest rooms and 10 elaborately-styled suites, all of which have a sea view, private balcony or terrace.
The four restaurants and their lounges thrive on individuality. These include a journey from the grand kitchens of the past, to a modern voyage through the eclectics and vibrancy of the Near East and beyond.
Residence & Spa
Residence & Spa at One&Only Royal Mirage is an intimate sanctuary for those who wish to languish in the comfort of prosperity. Charming and enticing, this haven is linked to a discreet reception leading to a private dinning room and bar lounge exclusive reserved for guests for the guest of the Residence.
The Arabian-styled private residences, each cared for by a specifically-selected, dedicated team, house a retreat of 1 Garden Villa, 16 Suites and 32 Prestige Rooms. Spacious and created with the finest detailing, all are sea facing with private balcony or terrace, and the elegant Garden Villa also provides a luxurious and ornate environment within the most exclusive part of the resort.
Within the elegant entrance courtyard of Residence & Spa, one will find the Health and Beauty Institute. This oasis of relaxtion houses the Givenchy Spa, Oriental Hammam, Fitness Centre, Hair Salon and Fitness Centre.
Location
One&Only Royal Mirage overlooks the Palm Island Bay with a kilometre of private coastline in sixty acres of landscaped gardens, water fountains and meandering pathways. It is 20 minutes from Dubai International Airport and opposite the prestigious Emirates Golf Club; and 20 minutes from the City Centre, the Gold and Spice Souks and the desert.
The resort has views of The Palm Island Jumeirah, Dubai, recognised as one of the world's most impressive developments and advertised as 'being visible from the Moon.' This man-made palm-shaped structure displays 17 huge fronds framed by a 12-kilometre (7.5 miles) protective barrier. When finished, The Palm will sport 2,000 villas, 40 luxury hotels, shopping centres, cinemas, and other facilities. The project, slated to be completed in late 2007, has traffic movement to and from the island most of the day. With many impressive developments, Dubai boasts one of the highest increases in tourism in the world, now evolving to become a 'City beach' environment, where leisure is also enjoyed with shopping, excursions, golf and sailing.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) lies at the north-eastern part of the Arabian Peninsula and is bordered by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the south and by the Sultanate of Oman to the east. Dubai and the surrounding lands are mostly level, with the Hajar mountains rising in the east of the Emirate.
Where appropriate, it is recommended that departure travel and return flight arrangements be re-confirmed 72 hours prior to departure.
